ADHD & AuDHD Therapy
Helping you move through overwhelm, pressure and avoidance
Living with ADHD or AuDHD is not just about focus or attention.
It can feel like:
- you know what to do, but can’t start
- you feel overwhelmed quickly and shut down
- pressure builds until you avoid things completely
- you move between high energy and exhaustion
- you’re hard on yourself but don’t know how to change it
Over time, this can turn into cycles of avoidance, self-criticism and feeling stuck.
🌊 How this shows up
You may recognise:
Emotional overwhelm
Feelings rise quickly and are hard to settle.
Sensory overload
Everything builds in the background, leaving you drained.
Impulsivity
A pull toward things that bring relief in the moment.
Shutdown or avoidance
The more pressure there is, the harder it becomes to engage.
Difficulty knowing what you feel (alexithymia)
A sense of emotional fog or disconnection.
Coping patterns
Food, alcohol, scrolling, or other behaviours that help you get through — but don’t resolve things.
🌿 My approach
I don’t focus on trying to fix you or push you to “be more organised.”
Instead, we look at what’s happening inside you.
- how your system responds under pressure
- the patterns you fall into
- how these patterns developed over time
When you begin to understand this, things can start to shift naturally.
This is not about forcing change.
It’s about reducing pressure, increasing awareness, and helping your system find a different way of responding.
⚡ What we work toward
- feeling less overwhelmed
- being able to start and follow through
- understanding your reactions instead of fighting them
- reducing self-criticism
- creating a way of living that actually works for you
🌱 Working together
Sessions are calm, paced, and focused on helping you stay connected to yourself — not pushing you beyond what your system can handle.
We begin with where you are.
You are not too much. You were not given enough.
